Artist | ZIH-CING, LEE
A native of Yuli, Hualien, has a passion for creative work and engages with various mediums. At the age of 27, she began her journey in stone carving, forming an inseparable bond with the craft ever since. Her preferred materials for artistic creation include white marble (from Vietnam), granite (from Shanxi, China), sunset red (from Shanxi, China), and Aurora (from Portugal). She excels in stone carving techniques that combine fluid lines and geometric cuboid forms to create spatial compositions. In this exhibition, her works predominantly feature white stones, showcasing the Cloud and Garden series.
